Frequently Asked Questions
How do I pay for goods?
You can pay using a credit card via Nochex. Alternatively you can use PayPal or a credit card via PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account to do this - you can use a credit card in the checkout process. The PayPal process allows you to pay using your credit card in the normal way.

None for you - we pay them!

The site calculates this based on weight at checkout. This is the only way to see the cost of postage. Each merchant may have slighly differing charges, but the split of this is automatic. You will see your shipping cost before you pay.
Is VAT included?
All shown prices include VAT at the current rate and show the amount of VAT.
Who did I pay?
You paid the merchant(s) shown on your order acknowledgement. We collected the money for them to make it easy.
Can you deliver anywhere?
In the UK, yes! (This includes NI, Scottish Islands, other UK islands.)
Outside of the UK no, sorry.

What sort of delivery service do you offer?

You shop from a huge range in our 'shopping mall' and when you checkout your order is split up among the merchants who supply the goods. We send you an order acknowledgement which splits the order up if needed into the merchants who are supplying the different bits of your order. Your order may be shipped to you from more than one merchant. Each merchant invoices you directly (usually by post) for the goods and sends them to you.
This is a manufacturer or distributor or retailer or stockist for a product. They could be anywhere in the UK but they supply great products with great service at great prices. We hand pick them.
This is unlikely but a question should be directed (in the first place) to the merchant who supplied the item. Their details are shown on the order acknowledgement which you get (by email from DIYsupermarket.com) when you pay as your contract of sale is with this merchant. We will make sure that any issues are resolved swiftly but we do ask that you try to resolve any dispute with the merchant first before contacting us. Contact us by email.
